What are you most passionate about?
First and foremost, my husband and son- both loyal Misfit guests! I am an avid reader, amateur actor, and a proud New Englander who strives to keep connection to my home state and the family there.
We’re curious—what first brought you through our doors?
The level of comfort, which I experienced from day one. The environment is so welcoming, and the skill set of all the Misfit artists is just outstanding. Easy to relax and put yourself in the Misfit team’s hands.
When you walk in, what’s the first thing that makes you feel at home?
I love the decor! There is always something new to look at. It’s pretty and sparkly - just like the staff!
Is there a particular service or treatment you love getting here?
Whether it’s a signature look or a relaxing experience, what’s your favorite thing we do that you never miss when you come in? I get SO many different treatments! I love getting highlights from Ariana, blow outs from Taylor, and facials from Libby most of all.
We know you’ve discovered some amazing products at Misfit Concepts! What’s one product you can’t live without?
The Kevin Murphy Young Again line. I am getting older (gasp!) and this line keeps my hair so silky and healthy feeling.
What’s one thing you’ve learned or felt inspired by during your time with us?
Oh- big question! I will say this- it’s not every stylist who will take the time to drive across town to see you act in a showcase. Ariana, Taylor and Libby have all supported me in really important ways. The salon and the people in it foster support and deep connection. Truly inspiring.
Is there a style or look that makes you feel extra confident when you leave?
Perfect beachy waves - made even better when I’ve just had highlights!
Tell us a fun, hidden detail that makes you you!
I am an expert campfire builder- and can cook almost anything over said campfire.
Girl scouts is forever, we love it!
